Venice

It's one of the most romantic cities, I've ever been - Venice
Piazza San Marco
Piazza San Marco is the principal square of Venice - A lovely place for strolling, listening to live music by small orchestras provided by the restaurants and having a great view at the historical & majestic architecture. It's surrounded by the famous church of St. Mark, the clock tower and gorgeous arcades.
Gelateria al Todaro dal 1948
Next to the grand canal you'll find a lot of cafés and restaurants. One of them is Gelateria al Todaro dal 1948 - excellent service, great selection of coffees and ice cream, good-looking waiters and beautiful view at the sea & the promenade.
Gondolas
The so-called "vaporetti" (gondola) will take you on a romantic tour through the narrow canals of Venice. I highly recommend to do it during sunset - It'll add the "top" of your ride guided by a singing gondolier.
Harri's bar
A small bar that will bring you back to the essence of cafe society. Here you'll find the original of Bellini and Carpaccio. But don't look at the prices..
Danieli Excelsior Palace
To be honest - that's my favorite place in Venice. I'm in love with the rooftop terrace where you have an amazing view over the grand canal and the promenade - charming waiters, beautiful ambiance & a great cuisine. And again: don't look at the prices... but it's definitely worth :-)
